On July 22, 2023, the XXV All-Russian Shukshin Film Festival ended. This bright event, full of events and meetings, has been held in the Altai Territory since 1999. The motto of the film festival is «Morality is Truth» (quote by V.M. Shukshin). Along with the screening of films, within the framework of the project «Shukshin Days in Altai», many thematic events are held dedicated to the memory of an outstanding fellow countryman — actor, director, writer Vasily Makarovich Shukshin.
Exhibitions, excursions, literary readings and talks were held in Barnaul, Biysk, Rubtsovsk, Kamne-na-Ob and other settlements. Residents and guests of the Altai Territory visited iconic places and museums dedicated to the memory of Vasily Makarovich, and also watched a huge number of films of the competition program.
In addition to feature films, documentary full-length and short films by Russian authors from all over the country were presented to the audience and experts. Out of 76 submitted works, the organizing committee selected 10 films.
The film «Fine Line» received a diploma of the winner in the nomination «Best feature-length documentary». Our film crew expressed sincere gratitude to the audience and the jury members for the high appreciation of the film.
